 After his studies in Paris University (DDS, MS, PhD and Habilitation), Dr. David Dohan Ehrenfest worked at the University of Paris, France, the University of Gothenburg, Sweden and the University Federico 2 of Naples, Italy. He is the author of more than 200 national and internationally published articles in the fields of periodontology and implant dentistry. Dr. David Dohan Ehrenfest is the Editor-in-chief of the international POSEIDO Journal (Periodontology, Oral Surgery, Esthetic & Implant Dentistry Open). His centers of interest are particularly the various applications of platelet concentrates (platelet-rich fibrin PRF, platelet-rich plasma PRP, etc.), and the development of new dental implant surfaces, dental implant design and bio-materials.

Dr. Pikos graduated from The Ohio State University Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa and also with honors from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Dr. Pikos completed an internship at Miami Valley Hospital and residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, Montefiore Hospital. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He is also a Courtesy Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Periodontology and Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He is the Scientific Advisor on Implants for the Kois Center and  the founder of the Pikos Implant Institute where he has been teaching a continuum of Bone and Soft Tissue Grafting along with CT technology since 1991. Marc Quirynen

Professor Dr. Marc Quirynen received his dental degree in 1980,  his education and training in periodontology in 1984, and his PhD in 1986 all from the Catholic University of Leuven. In 1990 he was appointed Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Leuven where he teaches periodontology and anatomy. His research focus has been in oral microbiology investigating the influence of surface characteristics on bacterial adhesion and the effect of antiseptics, oral malodor, simplification and optimization of periodontal therapy including implant surgery. He has published more than 300 articles in international peer-reviewed journals including, the Journal of Clinical Periodontology where he is Associate Editor, the Clinical Oral implants Research, the Journal of Dental Research, and the Periodontal Practice Today and Parodontologie.

Dr. Zadeh is an Associate Professor at the USC School of Dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He received his doctor of dental surgery degree from USC School of Dentistry in 1987. He has also completed advanced clinical education in Periodontology and earned a PhD degree in immunology from the University of Connecticut, Schools of Dental Medicine and Medicine. Dr. Zadeh directs the Laboratory for Immunoregulation and Tissue Engineering (LITE), funded by the National Institutes of Health. He has extensive publication track record and serves as editorial reviewer for several international scientific journals. He also serves on an advisory panel to the Center for Scientific Review of the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Zadeh is the Director of the USC Periodontal and Implant Symposium, and the USC Comprehensive Surgical and Restorative Implant Training Program. He also maintains a part-time private practice limited to Periodontology in Southern California.

 Dr. Mills is the founder of the Atlanta Center for Restorative Dentistry. A graduate of Emory University in 1980, he has lectured extensively throughout the world on state-of-the-art restorative techniques. Dr. Mills is a fellow as well as the 2003 president of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a diplomat at the Board of Oral Implantology. He is also the founder and current director of the Atlanta Institute for Advanced Education.  Additionally, he is the current director of the Maximus 390-hour Comprehensive Dental Implant Training Program, considered to be among the top continuing educational programs in dentistry and is also director of a three year hospital-based dental implant residency program at Emory Adventist Hospital.  Dr. Mills has lectured nationally and internationally on implant surgery and prosthetics and has helped train over 1000 dentists who have graduated his program.

Peter K. Moy, D.M.D.

 Dr. Moy is a clinical professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery in the Division of Diagnostic & Surgical Sciences at the UCLA School of Dentistry. A sought-after lecturer on implant surgical concepts in national and international forums, Dr. Moy has played a major role in the advancement of the dental implant field. He has published on the subject of computer-guided implant surgery and established risk factors for dental implant success. He received his degree in dentistry from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Dental Medicine in 1973, completed a general practice residency program at Queen's Medical College in 1979 and received a certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 1982. Dr. Moy has held faculty positions at the UCLA School of Dentistry since 1982. He was appointed co-director of the UCLA Dental Implant Center in 1991. He is an associate editor of the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and is active in several professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. Moy is the immediate past president of the Academy of Osseointegration, a leading scientific group in the field of dental implants.

 Dr. Aldo Leopardi received his undergraduate dental degree from the University of Adelaide, South Australia, in 1984 and his MS degree in combined fixed, removable and implant Prosthodontics, at the University of North Carolina, at Chapel Hill, in 1993.  At Chapel Hill, he also taught Fixed Prosthodontics as a Clinical Assistant Professor.  In 1996, he joined the Prosthodontic faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM), Michigan.  After 15 years of combined academic and dental practice, Dr. Leopardi resumed private practice limited to implant, fixed and removable Prosthodontics in Denver, Colorado. Today he lectures nationally on subjects involving fixed, removable and implant dentistry, and is involved in clinical research. Dr.Scott Ganz

Dr. Scott D. Ganz graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry – New Jersey Dental School. He completed a three-year specialty program in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Ganz is well- published in various scientific and professional journals (over 50 articles). He has delivered presentations both nationally and internationally on the Prosthetic and Surgical phases of Implant Dentistry and is considered a leader in the field of Computer Utilization for Diagnostic, Graphical, and Treatment Planning Applications in Dentistry. Dr. Ganz has been a featured speaker worldwide for numerous organizations including the Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, The International Congress of Oral Implantologists, The American College of Prosthodontists, The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, The European Academy of Osseointegration, and The American Society of Osseointegration. Thierry M. Giorno, DDS

Dr. Thierry Giorno received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Nice University, School of Odontology. He completed his Post Graduate work in Implantology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and the Maxi Course in Implantology at the Medical College of Georgia. His private practices, specializing in implantology, were subsequently established in Monte Carlo, Principality of Monaco and in Nice, France. Dr. Giorno currently serves as Intra-Locks’ Director of Research and Development. He is an AAID Associate Fellow and has lectured extensively on the subjects of biomechanics, implant science and implant clinical applications at the University of Nice, University of Lyon, University of Paris, and numerous scientific societies in France, Italy, Spain, Korea, Thailand, China, Brazil, the United States and other venues throughout the world.

Anthony G. Sclar, DMD

 Dr. Sclar graduated from the University of  Florida College of Dentistry and subsequently completed; an internship in hospital dentistry, a fellowship program in Medical Anesthesiology and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training  at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital and additional general and plastic surgery training at Central Medical Center, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has maintained an oral surgery and implant dentistry  practice in South Miami, Florida since 1989. Dr. Sclar founded the Sclar Center for Advanced Implant Dentistry Learning which hosts the highly regarded Master's Series of Advanced Implant Dentistry Immersion Courses for his colleagues.  Dr. Sclar co-edited a surgical atlas entitled: Soft Tissue Esthetic Procedures for Teeth and Implants and authored what has become a hallmark, multilanguage textbook entitled; Soft Tissue and Esthetic Considerations in Implant Therapy. He previously served on the JOMS editorial board and currently serves on the AAOMS Parameters of Care Committee on Cranial Facial and Dental Implant Surgery. He is an adjunct professor in the department of OMFS at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and currently serves as a regular reviewer for several scientific journals including; JOMS, JOMI, IJPRD and Clinical Advances in Periodontics (CAP).

Stephen Wallace

Dr.Wallace is a graduate of Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry with a Certificate in Periodontics. He has been on the faculty of the New York University Department of Implant Dentistry as an Associate Professor. He is a Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and a Fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Wallace’s time at New York University is divided between clinical teaching and human clinical and histologic research. He has helped develop the world’s largest data base on sinus augmentation surgery and has performed research studies on products from the world’s leading manufacturers of implants and bone regenerative materials.  He is the author of an evidence-based review of the sinus augmentation procedure published in the Annals of Periodontology as well over 25 journal articles and textbook chapters. He is co-editor of a text book on sinus elevation surgery recently published in Italy. In addition to his faculty appointment, Dr. Wallace maintains a practice for Periodontics, bone regeneration and implant dentistry in Connecticut.

 Prof. Shibli received his PhD and Master degree in Periodontology in 2003 and 2000 respectively evaluating Peri-implant diseases and microbiology composition of these lesions in both pre-clinical and clinical studies. He also spent a PhD period at the Department of Oral Biology, SUNY at Buffalo, NY, USA and Department of Oral Pathology in University of Chieti, Italy. He is Professor and Head of Oral Implantology, Department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology, Dental Research Division, Guarulhos University, SP, Brazil. His research is focused, but not limited to, Oral Implantology and Periodontology mainly with Peri-implant diseases, Guided Bone Regeneration, Growth Factors, Implant Surface Topographies, Dental Lasers, Digital Workflow and RCT. He is currently a reviewer of the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants, Clinical Oral Implants Research, Journal of Clinical Periodontology, Journal of Periodontology, Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research, Journal of Periodontal Research, PlosOne, Journal of Biomedical Material Research, part B: applied Biomaterials, BioMed Res International. He also is on the editorial board of the Journal of International Academy of Periodontology, BioMed Res International, Case Reports in Dentistry and Brazilian Oral Research. Juan Carlos Buitrago, DDS

 Dr. Buitrago  first received his dental degree from Fundacion Universitaria San Martin in Bogota, Colombia and later in the United States, at The University of Florida, College of Dentistry. He completed a fellowship in Implant Dentistry in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2001. He spent his early years as a practicing clinician as an Associate Professor at the University of Florida School of Dentistry.  Dr. Buitrago has a wide range of clinical experience with different implant systems; completing over 5,000 implant cases. In 2015 he founded the Dental Training Center of Miami (DTC). As Academic Director of DTC he lectures in basic and advanced implantology, soft and hard tissue grafting, alveolar socket preservation plus vertical and horizontal mandible / maxilla cases. He has been a speaker for different implant systems as well as  L-PRF.  He also serves as a Co-charmain of the implant department for the SEGD Program at Miami Larkin Hospital.
